New State Bird?

I'm not sure, but I have heard rumors that the state of Oklahoma could be considering a change to this species as the new state bird. This particular bird, a male, I believe, was photographed in Pennsylvania, they have quite a range for such a heavy bird. They are well built and solid, just smell funny.
